EEI provided commissioning services for The Ohio State University’s Ohio Stadium renovation. The project modernized critical building systems while preserving the stadium’s historic character. Scope elements included restoration and re-coating of the iconic C-Deck concrete, upgrades to power distribution, and renovations to the B-Deck and premium seating areas. Enhancements introduced 35 new Loge Boxes, 12 Luxury Suites, and consolidated university suites into one expanded, upgraded space with associated kitchen and support areas.

The indoor/outdoor nature of the facility posed unique challenges for mechanical and electrical systems. EEI’s commissioning expertise supported solutions that balance performance, durability, and occupant comfort, which were key factors in achieving The Ohio State University’s goals for an improved guest experience.

Through detailed system testing and close collaboration with the project team, EEI contributed to the delivery of a high-performing, revitalized facility that celebrates the stadium’s legacy while elevating comfort and functionality for players, fans, and guests.
