The Snoqualmie Casino Expansion is a major $400 million project that will bring significant changes to the Snoqualmie Tribe’s casino and resort. The expansion includes the construction of a 210-room hotel, a 2,000-seat entertainment and convention center, a parking structure, an expanded gaming floor, a full-service spa, fitness center, indoor pool with outdoor deck, and two new restaurants. This development is expected to create around 500 job opportunities and aims to enhance the region’s hospitality and gaming industry.
EEI’s involvement in the project is crucial for ensuring compliance with the Washington Energy Non-Residential Energy Code WAC 51-11. As the Commissioning Agent (Cx), EEI is responsible for commissioning various systems, including HVAC components, radiant heating, exhaust systems, kitchen hoods, water heaters, fire water supply, lighting, security, and more. Their scope of work encompasses developing a Commissioning Plan, providing detailed building observation reports during construction, and producing both Preliminary and Final Commissioning Reports to ensure the successful and efficient operation of the expanded facilities.
