Internship Program
EEI offers a dynamic and comprehensive internship program designed to provide valuable experience and skills to students who are nearing graduation.

- Engineer Intern: The Engineering Intern supports project activities, including meetings, reviews, site visits, document production, troubleshooting, and field work. Entry-level position requiring little to no experience.
- Support Engineer: The Support Engineer supports a variety of project activities, including meetings, reviews, site visits, document production, system troubleshooting, and field activities.
- Project Engineer: The Project Engineer investigates engineering issues, identifies solutions, develops designs, specifications, cost estimates, and prepares reports and calculations for various projects.
- Senior Project Engineer: The Senior Project Engineer investigates engineering issues, identifies solutions, develops designs, specifications, cost estimates, and reviews reports for various projects.
- Assistant Project Manager: Assistant Project Managers are crucial for positive business relationships. Supports business development by selling additional services to existing clients or pursuing new projects with new/existing clients.
- Project Manager: The Project Manager leads project delivery, representing the firm to clients and maintaining positive business relationships.
- Senior Project Manager: The Senior Project Manager leads project delivery, serving as the primary firm representative. Maintains positive client relationships and may supervise technical staff, handling tasks like supervision, labor assignments, career development, and performance reviews.
- Associate: The Associate works in partnership with an established Branch Manager to grow sales and manage operations while increasing operational efficiency, profitability, and client satisfaction.
- Branch Manager: The Branch Manager leads and manages brand operations, ensuring successful sales, operations, and profitability. Accountable for overall office performance, they strive to enhance sales, operations, profitability, and client satisfaction. May also act as a Project Manager on selected projects.

Remote-First Company: EEI provides the team with IT equipment and software that allows for onsite and remote (outside an office) working where compatible with client requirements and project demands.

Retirement / 401(k)
Immediate Vesting: Employees are fully vested in their retirement plan from Day One – including both their contributions and EEI’s matching contributions.
Limited Waiting Period: Employees can participate as early as the beginning of the month following their hire date.
EEI Contributions: EEI matches 100% of the employee’s contributions on the first 3% of the their annual compensation, plus 50% of the employee’s contribution on the next 2% of their annual income.
Paid Time Off
Per Calendar Year:
Vacation: Employees receive 120 hours of vacation time annually, with additional vacation granted after 5 years of service.
Paid Holidays: 8 paid holidays per year.
Sick Leave: 56 hours of sick leave annually.
Company Bonuses
Profit-Based Bonuses: Employees are eligible for bonuses based on company and employee performance.
Recruitment Bonuses: Bonuses are awarded to employees who refer others hired by the company.
Professional Development
EEI fully supports employee growth and development through paid certifications, licensing, professional memberships, seminars, and conferences (with pre-approval).
Service Awards
Travel-Related Awards: Travel-related awards are given to employees every 5 years of service as recognition of their dedication and commitment to EEI.
