Denver Concourse B & C Expansion

Location: Denver, CO

Denver International Airport Concourse Expansion Program (DEN CEP) constructed 27 new gates in Concourses B & C. This expansion allows growth opportunity for existing airlines and the accommodation of new international airlines. Sustainable efforts like reducing artificial lighting while increasing natural daylight, energy recovery of exhaust air and outdoor air, and photovoltaic energy generation are projected aid Denver in using 30% less energy.

EEI is providing Cx process management to prepare the general contractors for start- up, pretesting and coordination with the third-party commissioning provider. EEI currently has 2 full-time and 1 part-time staff members working on this project for over a year.

Our role is to facilitate a smooth Cx process by identifying and eliminating issues, thereby avoiding delays and rework. We will also represent trade providers and interface with the airport’s end-users and Cx provider. Our services include:

  • Scheduling milestones
  • Sequence of Operations coordination and review
  • BAS graphics review
  • System installation coordination, status review, readiness support
  • Document control
  • Cx support/oversight
  • Pre-testing
  • Cx Alloy maintenance and auditing
  • Witnessing system start-up
