Our Commissioning Process
The cleanroom commissioning process can vary greatly. It can be brief and include just
a few stages or types of commissioning, or it can be in-depth and take longer than the
entire cleanroom project. It’s all determined by the end user, their specific commissioning
requirements, and documentation needed for their project.
Typically, the process for commissioning consists of the following steps:
- Acceptance Criteria Summary Reporting
- Aerosol Challenge Installation Leak Test – Fan Filter (FFU) Analysis
- Air Volume Profile
- Airborne Particle Count Survey
- Alarms & Interlocks Automation
- Finishes (floors, walls, ceiling, doors, airlocks, lighting, etc.)
- Humidity
- HVAC
- Lighting Levels
- Particle Count Statistical Analysis
- Room Air Change Calculations
- Room Identification Drawings
- Room to Room Differential Pressure / Room Pressurization Gradients
- Static Pressure Temperature
- Utilities Vibration & Noise
Staffing Model
Our staffing model is based on having designated CxA Project Managers, CxA Leads, and CxA
Support Engineers in our offices to support projects in each region. Many of our team members are
capable of travel or short term relocation to support cleanroom projects across the nation. With the
combined support from each of these groups, EEI can efficiently provide commissioning services in
any market.
